Flag Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

 

Navy Capt. David A. Lane, nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Lane is currently serving as commanding officer, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, N.C.

 

Navy Capt. Brent W. Scott, nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Scott is currently serving as fleet chaplain to the commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

 

Navy Capt. Michelle C. Skubic, nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Skubic is currently serving as chief of staff, Naval Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
